Private View : Friday 10 March, 7pm to 9pm - you are invited to join Harri to celebrate ‘Re-Framing Recollection’
‘Re-Framing Recollection’ is an exhibition of drawing, collage, painting, and photography entangled in the relationship between architecture and the body.
Harri Hudspith has spent the past three years ‘Getting into the Habit’ of the sainted writer Teresa of Avila, a mystical visionary who envisioned the soul as a diamond castle. Three years of drawing, writing, reading, and painting, three years of mapping the crystalline landscape of Teresa’s soul, ‘Reframing Recollection’ looks back upon this intense period of research and re-frames the artworks which emerged from it through the tension that exists between architecture and the body, between the soul and the body through which it is formed.
The exhibition will run at Burdall's Yard from Tuesday 21 February to Friday 31 March and is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 6pm.
