  • Burdall's Yard Anglo Terrace Bath, England, BA1 5NH United Kingdom (map)

Explore the world of Ancient Egypt with Bristol Museum's Jane Hack, beginning with the first ‘true mummification’ over 4,500 years ago in ancient Egypt, to the ensuing history of ‘the mummy’ from fact to fiction.

This 45 minute talk is a fascinating insight into how ‘the mummy’ has been presented in popular culture, including horror films and literature.

This event is part of the Bath Archaeo-Heritage Film Festival, a five-day celebration of archaeology and heritage in cinema. Find out more at BAHfilmfestival.co.uk.
