The Jazz Social is a new jazz space for everyone interested in playing or listening to the best of contemporary jazz. 

Starting with a regular jam night on the first Thursday of the month at Burdall’s Yard, the Jazz Social aims to be an inclusive and welcoming experience for seasoned performers, those just starting out and everybody in between.

Opening with the Jazz Social House Band made up of experienced performers from Bath and around, the stage then opens up to anyone who wants to perform, be it instrumentalists or vocalists.

Expect music spanning the world of jazz from standards, latin, vocal classics to modern, original compositions and jazz-funk numbers.

Everybody is welcome to take part, or just come along and listen.

Backline is provided - instrumentalists please bring your instruments (drummers your sticks, bassists/guitarists your guitars).
