As a band, Latency have come a long way to get to Burdalls Yard (despite the band all living in and around Bath).

From where it all began in the Beechen Cliff Swing band as a jazz quartet, to their exciting additions of a singer, two horns and a new bassist, to the vast array of gigs ranging from end of year Uni Balls to wine and jazz nights, something you have to say about Latency is that they are versatile.

However, through all of this one thing has remained the same. Latency is about having a bit of fun with your mates and listening to some great music by great musicians. And, with some help from The Patrol, that will be happening on the evening of the 15th February 2025.

Stevie Wonder to Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu to Bill Withers, Ezra Collective to the fine original music written by our very own Arthur Fisher. Jazz. Funk. Soul. Groove. Latency have played it all. More than a year ago, at their first gig, the people at the Thunderbolt put it best: “They will make you get on the dance floor.”
