Artist in Dialogue is a communication through art project established in the summer of 2022 in wake of the devastating invasion of Ukraine earlier that year.

Five British artists from Somerset plus seven Ukrainian artists, displaced across Europe and Ukraine, share their thoughts, feelings and experiences online. Through the medium of spoken and visual dialogue, and with the aid of an interpreter, they create artwork that is uploaded to a digital platform that can be accessed by all other project artists.

A strong bond has formed between the artists with an imperative aim to enter into open, mutually supportive dialogue.
