Following a sell-out show at Burdall’s Yard last November, we are thrilled to announce a return of The Dunwells for another special evening of rootsy, folk-rock on Friday 24th March 2023.

Fans from around the country flocked to Burdall’s Yard last year and raved about the talented duo’s first gig in Bath. Treating their audience to a mix of old favourites and new tracks, The Dunwells received a rapturous response and were eager to return to Burdall’s Yard in the spring.

Known for their soaring melodies and driven by the purity of their heart-on-sleeve song writing and the loyalty of an insatiable, still-expanding movement of fans, The Dunwells' remarkable experiences have gone right back into their music.

The Dunwells have been touring the world since the release of their debut album in 2012, and have found favour with global audiences having supported artists including Mumford and Sons and Elbow. Their 4th full length studio album 'Tell Me What You Want' was released in May last year, with two singles 'This is Love' and 'How Will They remember Us?' out also to coincide with the album's release.

We are honoured to invite The Dunwells to retake to the stage at Burdall’s Yard and deliver a performance of classic songs from the past 10 years, plus a number of new songs from their forthcoming album thrown into the mix too.

Joyful, dramatic and centred all at the same time, this is a performance not to be missed.

Support will come from Lauren Bradford. A gently folky singer/songwriter hailing from San Francisco whose clear voice and crisply picked acoustic guitar unfold her own poetic songs with soulful honesty and urgency, whether stirring anthems or thoughtful ballads. Lauren explores life the way her melodies explore notes. Her story-rich lyrics draw you in close to her warm and inquisitive worldview, while her hypnotic guitar patterns create a bed on which her voice sets sail.
